Camilo Acosta

Camilo Acosta is the Founder and Managing Partner of Perceptive Ventures, an early-stage venture firm backing AI-native startups at the forefront of agentic intelligence. An exited AI founder and former product leader at Meta, Camilo built AI-powered products used by millions of people around the world before turning to investing. He has shaped Perceptive around the belief that the most transformative companies will emerge from founders who treat AI not as a tool, but as a full-fledged collaborator. The firm's high-conviction approach has led to early investments in startups later backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Insight, NFX, and Forerunner, among others. Camilo grew up in Washington, DC, attended Princeton University, and is a long time resident of San Francisco.
