Timur Yarnall

Timur Cuceloglu Yarnall is a 4x startup cofounder and senior AI/ML executive, and leads AI/ML BD for AWS Startups. His team identifies and engages with top Generative AI startups to support their founders in creating transformational products, as well as leading startup-focused GTM efforts for Amazon Sagemaker and Bedrock (which involve key foundation model partners such as Anthropic, Mistral, Meta, Stability, and Cohere). Timur most recently led Enterprise Business Development at the privacy-focused search engine Neeva.ai, prior to its acquisition by Snowflake, and also lead product partnerships at Glean leading up to their February 2024 Series D funding by Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia. Timur has co-founded four successful start-up companies focused on video content management, fraud (bot detection) in advertising (MdotLabs, acquired by comScore in 2014), and data privacy analytics. Timur holds a B.S. and M.S (Embedded Systems) in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, based on the ME 218 series closely tied to what is now the D-School. Timur is also the author of “Lessons from a Warrior”, a book he published in 2021 after the passing of his father – Dogan Cuceloglu, a famous author and family psychologist in Turkey (Turkiye) who wrote and lectured about cross-cultural dynamics and living with compassion - during the pandemic. Timur lives near San Francisco with his wife, two children, and a goofy 100 lb Great Pyrenees.
