Linxi "Jim" Fan is an accomplished research scientist at NVIDIA AI, with his primary work centered around the development of autonomous agents capable of general tasks. His extensive research areas span foundation models, policy learning, robotics, multimodal learning, and large-scale systems, reflecting his commitment to tackling this grand challenge. Jim obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Stanford Vision Lab, where he was advised by Prof. Fei-Fei Li. His rich experience also includes research internships at renowned organizations such as NVIDIA, Google Cloud AI, OpenAI, Baidu Silicon Valley AI Lab, and Mila-Quebec AI Institute. As the valedictorian of the Class of 2016 at Columbia University, he was also awarded the esteemed Illig Medal.
